Churches in Dordogne

Since a number of years I spent time to visit as much as possible old and small churches in villages in France, Dordogne, Perigord-Noir.
These churches are mostly more than 600 years old. Sometimes they are a little bit modernized, but the style and architecture are still visible enough to show the ambiance in HDR-photographs.

HDR is fine technique to handle situations with higher contrasts, like inside old churches like these. Usually I take 5 shots with different shutter speeds which is easily to control using the camera’s bracketing option. Always available in the better camera’s.

The following images were made in Bouzic, Florimant Gaumier (both with a Samyang 12mm f/2), Gourdon and 2 in St. Germain de Belvès (Fujifil XF 10-24mm f/4).
